An amazing and well known Houston Restaurant is looking for a reliable Staff Accountant to perform many accounting functions and ensure the accuracy of the financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing a restaurant point of sale (POS) system for reporting and tracking data; for inputting and reconciling accounts payable and reconciling cash. The candidate will ensure accurate reporting of daily reports; ensuring prompt payment of invoices and developing and maintaining a comprehensive financial filing system for our company.

Responsibilities include:

· Assistance with the maintenance of the POS system; updating for menu changes and reports;

· Extracting data from the POS system and preparing reports on sales and the tip pool daily;

· Managing Accounts Payable for several restaurants; communicating with vendors; writing checks in the accounting system; ensure credit memos are accounted for

· Reconcile cash for several restaurants daily;

· Updating inventory on a monthly basis;

· Assist with preparation of the month-end financial closings;

· Assist with other accounting projects in the office 

· Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and miscellaneous charges 

· Maintain orderly financial filing system 

Position Requirements:

· Associate Degree in Accounting required (Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred) 

· 2-3 years of restaurant accounting experience preferred; 

· Accounting software experience in Sage or Compeat or Restaurant 365 preferred

· Strong knowledge of MS Office

· Excellent communication and administrative skills 

· Exceptional organization and time management skills 

· Ability to meet all assigned deadlines 

· Experience with bank reconciliation and tracking credit card transactions 

· Excellent attention to detail

· A can-do attitude

General Manager (New York, NY)

We are looking for a General Manager for the restaurant of its flagship located in New York, NNY.

The General Manager is the leader of the restaurant and the face of our brand.

The GM has overall responsibility for managing the daily operations of the Restaurant and a full restaurant team.

The GM will directly report to the US Operations Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a brand ambassador and serve as a role model
  • Build a high-performing restaurant team to meet the high standards of service and quality of the Restaurant
  • Ensure guest satisfaction for an exigent clientele

  • IT skills: proficient in emails, Microsoft Office programs;
  • Speaks fluent English; very good command of written English and of French culinary terminology.
